Ashley was in an elementary school in the area in which she danced, played soccer and belonged to Drama club. Following her graduation in 2018, Ashley chose to focus on her acting career and not enroll in college. Ashley was cast as Jessica Finch for the 2011 family comedy Judy Moody & the Not Bummer Summer. In 2012, Ashley voiced many bears and raccoons on the hit animated adventure movie Ernest & Celestine which starred Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson & Pauline Brunner. The movie received 14 out of 29 nods it was awarded, which included the Oscar.
