Pom Klementieff
Pom Klementieff is an actress from
France, French actress was born on the 3rd of May 1986. She attended the Cours
Florent drama school, Paris. She has appeared in movies such as Loup 2009,
Sleepless Night 2011 and Hacker's Game 2015. She portrays the role of Mantis in
the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. (2017).
Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Avengers: Endgame (2019). Pom Klementieff was
born in Quebec City, Canada, to the parents of a Korean mother and a
French-Russian father, who was working as a consul there for the French
government. Eugene Klementieff, a painter was her grandfather. Since it sounds
like the Korean words for "spring" or "tiger" Her parents
named their daughter Pom. Klementieff stayed in Canada for a time of one year,
before her family was able to travel extensively because of her father's work.
Before moving to France, they resided in Japan as well as on the Ivory Coast.
Klementieff's father died of cancer when she was five and her mother was
suffering from schizophrenia and could not care for children as a result, and
Klementieff was raised by her aunt and uncle who were paternal. Her uncle, who
she described as "like her second father" was killed when she turned
18 as did her older brother, who was killed just seven years later, this
occasion being her birthday. Klementieff had the opportunity to study law
following the passing of her uncle. However, she didn't find the job path
appealing. In France she was employed as a waitress and salesperson. At the Cours
Florent drama academy in Paris, she began acting at the age of 19. After a few
months of studies, she won the competition for theater, which gave the
opportunity to take classes for free for two years with some of the best
teachers. Klementieff was the first actor to play professionally in the
independent French film Apres lui (2007). She played the stepdaughter for the
main character Catherine Deneuve. Three days were spent on filming her scenes.
Klementieff was supposed push another person up a set staircase, but she
accidentally fell to the ground. Gael Mostl kept the footage in the film. Loup
(2009) was her first lead role in a film. It is an French film that tells the
story of a tribe of Siberian mountain reindeer herders. Klementieff filmed for
hours at an isolated camp, far from the nearest village. The temperatures
dropped to minus zero when filming.
