Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
who formerly worked as an anchor for television at ABC News. Her stints as
co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host of The View
(2015-2018) are famous. Prior to this, she hosted World News Now and America
This Morning. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related
jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus,
Ohio. Due to the lack of opportunities on television, she held an opportunity
as a radio sales representative. Her next job was a year as a production
assistant at WKEF/WRGT and later occasionally anchor or report. From 2002 to
2005 she was the weekend sports anchor and the weekday sports anchor for the
station WCPO in Cincinnati. Her contract was terminated and she was hired as a
reporter and anchor for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from November 2005 to
December 2011. She was recruited by ABC News' news division in December of
2011. She made her network debut on the 2nd of January, 2012 for ABC's World
News Now, and America This Morning. She was a correspondent as well as fill-in
for Good Morning America during this time. She was then elevated to become a
New-York-based reporter for all ABC News programs. She was host of America This
Morning and World News Now's final episode on January 22 2013. Following the
time that Bianna Golodryga resigned to join Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on
Good Morning America Weekend was made August 9, 2014. News. On the 25th of
August, 2015, ABC announced that she would be joining The View as a co-host for
season 19. Her contract was renewed by ABC to run its 20th season on August 3.
Season 21 also got renewed thanks to her co-hosting duties. She was the most
prominent during the 22nd and 21st seasons on the series.
